Home Office, Yorkshire Dales

The brief for this project was to design and make a home office that maximised the room for storage and working space, including housing away boots, files, filing cabinets, books, and a paper shredder, whilst also keeping the room looking as light and spacious as possible.

My customer and I agreed Ash as the timber of choice. The Ash was supplied from my local timber supplier based just outside of Settle in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Ash is a light natural coloured wood, the unique figuring in the grain can add character and interest to any piece.

LED strip lights were installed into the units, and this really helps bring the whole project to life. Along with the customer I was delighted with what we achieved, a natural, light, sleek yet functional space for my customer to enjoy every day as their new home office.
